Strength & Balance Classes
The classes are on Tuesdays
Classes at Saints Philip and James Church Centre, Hatherley, Cheltenham GL51 6HX
12.25 to 1.10pm, suitable for people who need more support with their balance, mainly seated exercises with some standing using a chair for support. Followed by tea & biscuits.
1:30 to 2:30 pm, more active class, with mainly standing exercises with some walking activities, followed by a social time to chat with refreshments.
Classes at St Margarets Hall (Annex back entrance) 20 Coniston Road, Hatherley, Cheltenham GL51 3NU
Tuesdays 10.30 for beginners.
Who are the classes suitable for ?
Classes are suitable for people with limited mobility or balance concerns. If you have other chronic health conditions please speak directly to Trish first before attending.
“Healthy Hearts Circuits”
Cheltenham Heart to Heart an exercise and support group affiliated to the British Heart Foundation
A friendly group of people with heart conditions and those who care for them.
Classes are held at:
Highbury Church Hall, Oxford Street On Monday am 09.45 To 10.45 and 11.15 To 12.15 And Thursday pm 2.30 To 3.30
The Reddings Community Centre, North Road West, The Reddings on Tuesday pm 6.00 To 7.00
St Margaret’s Hall, Coniston Road, Hatherley on Thursday am
Classes start at 10.45 and 11.15 am.
What to expect
There is no loud music to contend with.
Wear flat shoes and comfortable loose fitting clothes
The instructions are clear and there are no complicated sequences of movements to remember.
Exercise bands, ankle weights and small dumbells may be used
