Trish Tenn is on a mission to re-define personal training; to make it the norm for people in their sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties to have a trainer.
Why? Because she has seen the difference it makes to the quality of life.
As life expectancy increases. we will have more and more ‘life to live’ but will we be fit enough to enjoy it?
It wasn’t the norm for people to do fitness training in their later years because we didn’t expect the quality or duration of life we expect now. Better public health and medicine allow our bodies to last longer but we need strong muscles, mobile joints and good balance to keep fulfilling our potential.
Trish’s life has always been about health and fitness, after leaving school as a top sportswomen she successfully completed one of the first Sports Science Degrees in the country graduating in 1984. For the last 30 years she has continued to expand her academic knowledge, fitness qualifications and practical experience of teaching and performing to become one of the leading edge professionals in her field.
